Shipping & Returns
This page explains how TED Trade USA handles ambient, heat-sensitive, and refrigerated orders, along with return requests and delivery issues.
Domestic shipping rates
Standard Ground, 5 to 8 business days: $15 for orders up to 8 lb. For orders over 8 lb, $2 is added for each additional whole or partial pound, up to 100 lb. Eligible United States orders of $250 or more receive free Standard Ground shipping.
Express, 1 to 2 business days: $40 for orders up to 8 lb. For orders over 8 lb, $2 is added for each additional whole or partial pound, up to 100 lb. Express shipping is not eligible for the $250 free-shipping offer.
Orders over 100 lb require a manual freight quote. Contact sales@tedtradeusa.com before ordering.
Shipping destinations and availability
Delivery availability, rates, and service levels depend on the product, destination ZIP code, order size, inventory location, and temperature requirements. The options available for your order are shown or confirmed during checkout. We do not guarantee a dispatch or delivery date unless it is confirmed in writing.
Order processing and tracking
Orders are reviewed for inventory and shipping requirements before fulfillment. Products with different availability, locations, or temperature requirements may ship separately. When tracking is available, it is sent to the email address or phone number provided at checkout.
Please check the delivery address before placing your order. Contact sales@tedtradeusa.com immediately if a correction is needed. Address changes cannot be guaranteed after fulfillment has started.
Ambient products
Products marked for ambient shipping are handled through standard parcel or freight methods appropriate to the order. Keep all food and supplies according to the manufacturer's storage directions after delivery.
Chocolate and other heat-sensitive products
Heat-sensitive orders may require weather-aware dispatch timing, insulation, cold packs, expedited service, or a combination of these measures. Available methods and charges depend on destination and conditions at the time of shipping. Prompt pickup and indoor storage after delivery are important.
Refrigerated products
Refrigerated shipping is available for eligible products and destinations. Refrigerated items are identified on the product page and must be refrigerated promptly after delivery. Do not consume an item that arrives leaking, damaged, unusually warm, or otherwise compromised; keep the product and packaging and contact us promptly.
Damaged, incorrect, missing, or temperature-compromised orders
Inspect the delivery promptly. Email sales@tedtradeusa.com with your order number and clear photos of the product, shipping box, shipping label, and packing materials. Keep the item and all packaging until we review the issue. Eligible resolutions are determined after review of the order and documentation.
Returns
Contact us before returning any item. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
- Perishable, refrigerated, opened, or temperature-sensitive food products are generally not eligible for a standard return because they cannot be safely restocked.
- Eligible non-perishable items may be requested for return within 15 days of delivery and must be unused, unopened, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
- For approved preference-based returns, the customer is responsible for obtaining and paying for the return shipping label unless we confirm otherwise in writing.
- Damaged, incorrect, missing, or compromised deliveries are reviewed separately from preference-based returns.
- Final-sale items and gift cards are not returnable.
If a return is approved, we will provide the return instructions. Do not mail a return to an address shown elsewhere without authorization.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned item or documented delivery issue has been reviewed. Your bank or card provider may require additional time to post the credit.
Order changes and cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee a change or cancellation after fulfillment has started, and temperature-sensitive or specially arranged orders may already have incurred shipping or handling commitments.
